Best greetings to you all! I’m happy to send you our quarterly e-newsletter from the Chris Salans Group. Life in Bali has been busy and fun at Mozaic and Spice by Chris Salans, with lots of special gastronomic events and many new friends, as Bali, and especially Ubud, become a world culinary destination. Now we are looking forward to a wonderful festive season. We hope that you will join us!

Winter Truffle and Grand Cru Wine Dinner

The Chris Salans Group and Epicurean Asia are excited to announce that on December 14th 2019, at 7pm, they will present a very special French Black Truffle Dinner paired with French Grand Cru wines that will take place at the Workshop of Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique in Ubud, Bali.
This dinner will be a unique opportunity to taste rare and precious French seasonal produce such as Kaluga Caviar, Winter Black Truffles and Pheasant, as well as exceptional wines, and to get a few cooking tips from the chef Chris Salans himself as he prepares every dish before your eyes.
Seating at The Workshop is limited to 30 persons, and reservations are strongly advised.

Christmas Special Menu
December 24th – 25th 2019

Christmas Dinner, which will be served on Christmas Eve, and for lunch and dinner on Christmas Day, features produce from the seas, fields, and forests of the Earth, with Mozaic’s signature culinary magic applying French techniques to the best local and imported ingredients in an inspired combination with Indonesian flavors.

A Night of Magical Arts
31st December 2019 &
1st January 2020

For New Year’s Eve, a very special event is planned around the theme “A Night of Magical Arts.” To raise a beautiful feast to the heights of ritual, the Turkish-born Japanese artist Jasmine Okubo will perform two dances during dinner, in the garden and the Workshop, and another dance during the countdown to 2020 in the Lounge, weaving her own special magic.

Our new menu at Spice was just launched. It features old favorites and new dishes, particularly new vegan dishes in response to requests from our vegan guests. The cocktail list sparkles with new creations using fresh local fruits and local and imported spirits. There are a number of innovative cocktails featuring Arak and Brem, Bali’s traditional ritual alcohols, expertly made by our local supplier.
